His main reason for converting to solar was financial…

“I formed the impression that the price of electricity would rise and continue to rise so I needed to do something to reduce our energy costs and figured solar was the best way for me to do that”

“I’d read that on top of the natural increases in the cost of energy there would be additional strains like the carbon tax and infrastructure upgrades which could see things literally double in the next few years, and I needed to protect myself from that as soon as possible”

Tom’s most recent bill was $150 for the quarter, down from over $400 and he expects that to go down even further in the coming warmer months.
