Queensland Renewable Energy Plan
Solar electricity is a renewable energy, meaning that it comes from a natural source that replenishes itself, so using it leaves a smaller impact on the environment. As part of the Queensland Government’s Renewable Energy Plan, the government is currently encouraging people to switch over to solar electricity in Brisbane, by providing a rebate through the Queensland Renewable Energy Plan.
