Positive Power Tolerance (-0% / +5%)One 175W panel isn't necessarily the same as the next 175W panel. Positive power tolerance refers to the actual output of each panel, as it is individually tested once manufacturing is complete. Our panels have the highest positive power tolerance of plus 5%. What does this mean? Our panels, when tested at STC (Standard Test Conditions), although they are 'rated' at 175W, their actual output will always be more than this (up to 185W). Other panels on the market can have power tolerance that is actually negative, ie Negative Power Tolerance of as much as 9%. So a 175W panel with -9% power tolerance, although rated at 175W, can actually have output as low as 159W. When you are installing dozens of panels on your roof, this can equate to a massive power loss - over the system lifespan, this accumulated ouput loss translates to a huge drop in value of the system. 10 Year WarrantyTo back up the quality of our panels, Sun Connect offers a standard manufacturer warranty of 10 years on all panels, along with the industry standard 25 year power output guarantee.
