ERA Solar Panels
Sun Connect uses ERA 185w panels. ERA is a leading provider of high quality, high output panels worldwide. Due to the customisable nature of ERA manufacturing Sun Connect has full input into the makeup of our panels, from the design to the positive tolerance output, which is -0%+5%. We require every panel to be individually flash tested by ERA and reported to us, which means that straight out of the box they are guaranteed to never be below the rated output of 185w and may be as high as 5% above, few other companies in Australia can offer a positive tolerance.
Our panels have some of the best structural warranties available at 10 years and up to 30 years at 80% output guarantee, this is more than double the warranty of most leading solar installers. The structural warranty is the most important warranty as it covers the actual quality of the product. If the panels delaminate or rust after 5 years (which is the standard industry warranty) then your 20 or 25 output warranty means nothing.
Below are some of the specs of our high quality ERA panels:
- 185w with up to 5% positive power tolerance
- 10 year structural warranty
- 50mm thicker frames for strength and rigidity
- High grade anodised aluminium
- Excellent backing sheet for high heat conditions in Australia
- We have input into the design and production of all manufactured panels
- 1 year installation guarantee
- Meets, and at times exceeds, all Australian and International quality standards
Aurora Inverters
A solar inverter is a type of electrical inverter that is made to change the direct current (DC) electricity from a photovoltaic array into alternating current (AC) for use with home appliances and possibly a utility grid. Because all photovoltaic panels produce electricity in DC, an inverter is required for all solar power systems to make the electricity usable.
The solar inverter is often one of the most expensive parts in an alternative energy system. Because of this, many people fall into the trap of underestimating the structure’s needs for a solar inverter and purchase one that handles a smaller capacity than necessary in order to save money. One of the recommendations to avoid making this mistake and keep the up-front costs of a solar energy system down is to initially purchase fewer solar cells and add more later rather than skimping on the inverter.
Sun Connect uses a variety of premium inverters, our most popular being the 3.6kw and 5kw Aurora Inverters, please see some of their specs below.
